44 COR 40-7863 [¶22,718] INDUSTRIAL TRUCKS, GENERAL – SAFE OPERATION, DRIVER SHALL SLOW DOWN AND SOUND HORN AT CROSS AISLES AND OTHER LOCATIONS WHERE VISION IS OBSTRUCTED Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 3650(t)(11) (2017) – The Division failed to establish that Employer did not ensure that industrial truck operators always slowed down and sounded the horn at cross aisles and other locations. INDUSTRIAL TRUCKS, GENERAL – SAFE OPERATION, OPERATORS SHALL LOOK IN DIRECTION OF TRAVEL AND SHALL NOT MOVE VEHICLE UNTIL CERTAIN THAT ALL PERSONS ARE IN THE CLEAR Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 3650(t)(12) (2017) – Employer failed to ensure that industrial trucks were operated in a safe manner in that the drivers always looked in the direction of travel. PERSONAL SAFETY DEVICES AND SAFEGUARDS – FOOT PROTECTION Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 3385(a) (2017) – Employer failed to require appropriate foot protection for employees who were exposed to foot injuries.
