Code Regs, tit. 8, § 1709(b)(1) (2017) – Employer failed to brace beams laterally and progressively during construction to prevent overturning, a serious, accident-related violation. The Board rejected Employer’s attempt to limit §1709 as a safety order only applying to structural steel and its argument that a more specific safety order applied.
