Code Regs, tit. 8, § 1620(c) (2017) – Employer violated §1620(c) by failing to ensure that a railing was capable of withstanding a force of at least 200 pounds applied to the top rail. LADDERS – GENERAL, PORTABLE LADDERS USED IN CONSTRUCTION Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 1675(b) (2017) – The evidence did not support that Employer violated §1675(b). The employee’s brief use of a closed step ladder would not have been detected despite reasonable diligence by Employer. HEAT ILLNESS PREVENTION – HEAT ILLNESS PREVENTION PLAN (HIPP) Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 3395(i) (2017) – Employer violated §3395(i) by failing to maintain a HIPP with minimum mandatory provisions. ERECTION AND CONSTRUCTION – WOOD AND LIGHT GAGE STEEL FRAME CONSTRUCTION, RESIDENTIAL/LIGHT COMMERCIAL, WORK ON STARTER BOARD, ROOF SHEATHING AND FASCIA BOARD Cal.
