Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 2340.16(b) (2010) - Employer’s failure to provide work space around electrical equipment was established by operation of law. 

SAFE PRACTICES - MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 3328(d) (2010) - Employer’s failure to restrain a drill press to prevent “walking” or moving from its location was established by operation of law. 

POINTS OF OPERATION - PRESS BRAKES MECHANICALLY OR HYDRAULICALLY POWERED
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 4214(a) (2010) - There was no evidence that an employee was exposed to the hazard of the unguarded point of operation on a press brake. 

POINTS OF OPERATION - HYDRAULIC POWER PRESSES (PUNCH PRESSES)

Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 4312 (2010) - The Division alleged that Employer’s horizontal belt sander did not have one of the pulleys and the unused run of the sanding belt enclosed, but failed to establish employee exposure by a preponderance of the evidence.
