Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 1670(b)(15) (2013) – Two employees failed to properly inspect their fall protection arrest systems prior to use. On reconsideration, the Board upheld the violation and serious classification.
FALL PROTECTION – LANYARDS NOT SECURED
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 1670(e) (2013) – While working about 130 feet above ground level, employees used lanyards that were not secured to a substantial member of the structure or to securely rigged lines. On reconsideration, the Board upheld the violation and serious classification.
