HAND PROTECTION - GLOVES NEAR MACHINERY Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 3384(b) (2012) - The note following the safety order does not create an exception to the prohibition against wearing gloves near machinery that creates a danger of entanglement. The Board upheld the ALJ’s conclusion that an entanglement hazard existed based on the machine’s physical attributes and the occurrence of the serious injury.
