AIR TANKS – PERMITS TO OPERATE
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 461(c) (2014) – Employer failed to post an air tank permit in accordance with the safety order.
INJURY AND ILLNESS PREVENTION PROGRAM (IIPP) – TRAINING AND INSTRUCTION
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 3203(a)(7) (2014) – Employer failed to provide training to employees in using, maintaining, cleaning, storing and inspecting coveralls they were issued for protection against sulfuric acid.
PIPE LINES – PRESSURE PIPING
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 3329(b) (2014) – The Division failed to establish that Employer’s piping was not designed in accordance with good engineering practice.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE DEVICES – PROTECTION AGAINST HAZARDS FOR WHICH DESIGNED
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 3380(e) and Board reg. § 386(b) (2014) – There was evidence that the parties litigated a violation of §3380(d), rather than §3380(e). The Board remanded the citation to provide notice of amendment of the citation.
