EXCAVATIONS AND TRENCHES - EXEMPTION
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 1541.1(a)(1) (2011) - The Board concluded that the Division failed to establish a violation. There was no evidence that the walls of the excavation did not remain intact on the vertical. More likely than not, they were entirely in stable rock. Employer’s appeal was granted.
PERMITS - EXEMPTION
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 341.1(f)(3) (2011) - The Board concluded that the ALJ properly analyzed the permitting exemptions for swimming pools.
