PENALTIES - FAILURE TO TIMELY REPORT INJURY Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 342(a) (2012) - Employer violated §342(a) by failing to timely report a serious injury. Section 6960(a) does not conflict with the safety order or take precedence over it. As the second violation of the same safety order occurred within three years, it was a repeat violation.
