LADDERS – GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 1675(a) (2015) – Employer’s employee accessed an elevated location without the use of a ladder, a general violation.
FALL PROTECTION – PERSONAL FALL ARREST SYSTEMS, PERSONAL FALL RESTRAINT SYSTEMS AND POSITIONING DEVICES
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 1670(a) (2015) – The top of the drywall stack was a walking/working area more than 7½ feet high. There was no fall protection. However, the classification of the violation was reduced from serious to general due to insufficient evidence of realistic possibility of serious physical harm or death from the actual hazard.
