HAZARDOUS ENERGY CONTROL – CLEANING, REPAIRING, SERVICING, SETTING-UP AND ADJUSTING OPERATIONS OF PRIME MOVERS, MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 3314(c) (2014) – Employer violated the safety order by failing to stop, de-energize or disengage a motor vehicle engine, or lock or block moveable parts to prevent inadvertent movement during servicing and adjusting. The exception of §3314(c)(1) did not apply because Employer did not provide and require the use of extension tools or other devices.
