Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 5042(a)(6) (2016) – Employer failed to set a sling to avoid slippage, a serious, accident-related violation. The device at issue was a sling, as contemplated by the safety order.
VIOLATION – SERIOUS CLASSIFICATION
Labor Code § 6432(c) (2016) – Employer failed to overcome the presumption of a serious violation, because it did not explain why it could not provide supervision for an employee who was engaged in an unusual operation in which he had no previous experience or training.
