Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 3314(c) (2016) – Employer violated the safety order by failing to stop and de-energize the power source of a berry-sorting table machine and, if necessary, block or lock out the moveable parts to prevent inadvertent movement, prior to performing a servicing operation. Employer failed to establish the independent employee action defense.
