GENERAL PHYSICAL CONDITIONS AND STRUCTURES ORDERS – INJURY AND ILLNESS PREVENTION PROGRAM (IIPP), PROCEDURES FOR IDENTIFYING AND EVALUATING WORKPLACE HAZARDS Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 3203(a) (2019) – Employer’s failure to identify and evaluate the risk of foot injuries to forklift operators who were required to lift heavy items occasionally, and who worked in close proximity to heavy equipment daily, constituted an IIPP violation. SAFE PRACTICES AND PERSONAL PROTECTION – PERSONAL SAFETY DEVICES AND SAFEGUARDS, FOOT PROTECTION Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 3385(a) (2019) – Employer failed to provide appropriate foot protection to forklift operators exposed to foot injuries from falling objects and crushing or penetrating actions.
