RADIAL SAWS - GUARDING
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8 § 4309(a) (2009) - The Division failed to show that any employee of Employer was exposed to the hazard of an exposed arbor on a radial saw.
INDUSTRIAL TRUCKS - ADEQUATE RIDING FACILITIES
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8 § 3650(t)(3) (2009) - The Division proved that an employee was permitted to ride on a forklift that lacked adequate riding facilities.
BAND SAWS - GUARDING
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8 § 4310(a) (2009) - The Division failed to establish that Employer violated the safety order in its use of a band saw. There was no evidence of the placement or use of the guard while the saw was in use.
FORKLIFTS - LOOKING IN DIRECTION OF TRAVEL
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8 § 3650(t)(12) (2009) - The Division failed to prove that a forklift truck operator did not look in the direction of travel and moved the vehicle without being certain that all persons were in the clear.
