HEAT ILLNESS PREVENTION - ACCESS TO SHADE Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 3395(d) (2012) - Shadow cast by a truck was inadequate to provide shade as required because periodic movement of the truck to create shade detracted from the usefulness of the shade. Likewise, use of a vehicle’s air conditioner did not satisfy the safety order because it would not provide immediate cooling when needed.
