44 COR 40-7895 [¶22,747] INJURY AND ILLNESS PREVENTION PROGRAM (IIPP) Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 3203(a) (2017) – Employer failed to implement its IIPP by not identifying, evaluating and/or correcting the hazard of exposing employees to overhead loads; or failing to provide training and instruction to its employees on how to conduct and control the movement of containers to avoid exposure to the hazards of overhead loads. Employer, thus, violated §§3203(a)(4), (6) and (7). CRANES AND OTHER HOISTING EQUIPMENT – OPERATING RULES, OVERHEAD LOADS Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 5002 (2017) – Employer failed to control the movement of containers to avoid exposure of employees to the hazards of overhead loads, and failed to establish that an exception to the safety order applied.
