REGULATIONS OF THE DIVISION OF OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH – PERMITS—EXCAVATIONS, TRENCHES, CONSTRUCTION AND DEMOLITION, BASIC PERMIT REQUIREMENT Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 341(c) (2019) – Employer did not have the required permits prior to beginning excavation work on the project, a regulatory violation. CONSTRUCTION SAFETY ORDERS – INJURY AND ILLNESS PREVENTION PROGRAM (IIPP) Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 1509(a) (2019) – Employer failed to properly implement its IIPP, rendering it ineffective, a general violation. CONSTRUCTION SAFETY ORDERS – EXCAVATIONS, GENERAL REQUIREMENTS, ACCESS AND EGRESS Cal.
