By the time the Cal/OSH Standards Board meets again in 2006, it should have a new public member – and a new chairman. Current chairman Steve Rank announced at the Dec. 15 meeting in Sacramento that an announcement by the governor's office is "imminent." While he wouldn't say who the new member will be, Rank commented, "You'll be quite pleased with the background and credentials of this new member."
