IRVINE -- 3M ESPE Dental Products is the only facility of its kind operated by the giant Midwest corporation, but it shares a common trait with other 3M facilities: an advanced safety culture.3M ESPE recently commemorated its recertification as a Cal/OSHA Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star site, a distinction it has held since 1997. Two other 3M sites, Valley, Neb., and Aberdeen, S.D., are certified under other VPP programs.
