SAN DIEGO -- The Cal/OSH Standards Board delayed action on a proposal regarding scaffold safety at its Nov. 16 meeting here while its staff fine-tunes the standard's new language.In other action, the board adopted amend-ments to General Industry Safety Order 5155 updating its airborne contaminants table. It also held a public hearing on two proposed amendments to Title 8 safety orders, voted on a petition and granted a number of variances.
