Board Member Questions Need For “Busywork” Proposal On Meat Saws

Cal/OSHA is proposing to create separate standard for use of meat-cutting band saws, saying the change could prevent finger amputations. But a member of the board that must approve the change questions the proposal, wondering if there aren't more important matters to be addressed. Cal-OSHA Reporter
