Cal/OSHA Is Investigating … Fall Protection Fails – Worker Dies

A 29-year-old tree trimmer in Palm Springs died July 20 after his fall protection failed as he was descending a 55-foot tree. California's Division of Occupational Safety and Health is investigating this and several other recent fatalities.The worker, whose identity was not available at press time, was employed by Oliver Services.
