Crane Operator Dies in Livermore Incident; Death at Stanford Stadium

The Division of Occupational Safety and Health's Fremont district office had two major investigations on its plate the week of June 25: The deaths of a crane operator in Livermore and a construction worker at Stanford Stadium. Then came a horrific accident at the Hayward Executive Airport that also could be Cal/OSHA's jurisdiction: The death of a co-pilot who walked into a propeller.
