Florida Subcontractor Given Probation in Case Involving Workers’ Death

A Deland, Fla., painting subcontractor who was accused of willfully ignoring federal confined space regulations, leading to the death of a worker, has been sentenced to three years' probation after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor.John B. Coffman, doing business as Southeast Industrial Painting, is the second defendant sentenced in the case. Randall Keith Ginzig, president of Eagle Tank Technology & Renovation Corp., was also sentenced to three years of probation late last year. He was
