Harwood Grant on Crane Safety

UC San Diego has been awarded a grant of almost $150,000 by Fed-OSHA to teach mobile crane safety.The $149,831 grant under the Susan Harwood Training Grants program will fund a five-day course on mobile crane safety for 45 crane operators and workers responsible for set-up, operation and maintenance of cranes. The classes will be held in California, Arizona and Nevada.The only other California Harwood grant was a $206,250 renewal grant to UC Berkeley to foster institutional competen
