Inspections, Violations Down in First Quarter of 2004, Stats Show

IRVINE -- California's Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) conducted 14 percent fewer inspections between January and March of this year than the comparable quarter of 2003, according to data released by the Division. Citations were down even more sharply, the statistics show.
