Final Inspection Statistics for 2004

Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) has released inspection and violation statistics for calendar year 2004. The data show that DOSH conducted 12 percent fewer onsite inspections in 2004 versus 2003, and also alleged 12 percent fewer violations. Accident-related inspections were down 2 percent, while complaint-related investigations were off 18 percent.
