Spectrum Organic Products, Inc., has pleaded no contest to two misdemeanor charges and agreed to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines in the culmination of a 2002 incident when two workers died in an oil tank at the Petaluma company's processing facility.Javier Del Rio, 43, and Francisco Estrella Galvan, 25, were killed April 25, 2002 while Del Rio was attempting to clean a flax-seed oil tank.
