Rebar Collapse in Fort Bragg Kills One Worker, Seriously Injures Another

SACRAMENTO -- An ironworker was killed and his partner narrowly escaped the same fate when a tower of rebar collapsed at a bridge project in Fort Bragg last week.The Division of Occupational Safety and Health is investigating the incident, which killed Julio Quintero. He and Rex Kamoss, who was moderately injured, were employed at the project by Pacific Coast Steel, of San Diego. The general contractor for the project is MCM Construction of Sacramento.The project is the new Noyo Harbor Bridge. The
