Standards Board Set to Hear New Alpine Climbing Regulation April 13

SACRAMENTO -- The Cal/OSH Standards Board will take public comment on a proposal that would allow bridge and dam inspectors, among others, to use rope-access techniques instead of prescribed fall protection. The board will also consider a new proposal that will contain the guarding requirements unique to miter saws.The proposed rope-access regulation is the result of an advisory committee that met late last year to to discuss formal r
