Title 8 Reform Could Be a 5-Year Process

The Cal/OSH Standards Board has released its proposed agenda for reforming Title 8, the massive set of safety and health regulations that govern California workplaces. The reform effort, as outlined in a recent Standards Board staff report, could take as long as five years.The board has three main goals in the landmark project: 1. To restructure, organize and present Title 8 regulations in a more logical fashion. 2. To develop an index reflecting the new restructuring and organization.
