The Appeals Board affirmed the ALJ decision of May 16, 1979 (Digest 13,295), denying Employer's appeal from a serious violation of 1592(a) (warning methods).

Backup Alarms, Failure of Another Employer to Use---Cal-OSHA Violation, Distinguished from Third-Party Civil Lawsuit. Employer contended it had not exposed its employees to the hazards of haulage vehicles without backup alarms because the only such vehicles belonged to another employer. The Appeals Board disagreed.
