PENALTIES - FINANCIAL HARDSHIP
Employer spent considerably more in money and effort than was called for to merely abate the violations it was cited for, and was extremely cooperative with the Division. Assessing a penalty in any amount under the circumstances would not further the purposes of the Cal/OSH Act. All penalties, totaling $18,520, were reduced to zero.
