CAL. CODE REGS, tit. 8, §§ 1637(n)(1) and (n)(2)(A) (2001) - Employer did not provide safe access to scaffolding by supplying a ladder or other safe means for one scaffold, or by securing ladders that were supplied for other scaffolds.
PENALTIES - DUPLICATIVE
The $840 penalty for a serious violation was vacated where the hazard was duplicative or related to the same hazard as another serious violation for which a $8,485 penalty was affirmed.
