CONVEYORS – GUARDING OVERHEAD CONVEYORS
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 7030(e) (2015) – Employer failed to adequately guard an overhead conveyor against materials falling on or causing injury to employees. The ALJ properly reclassified the violation from serious to general.
VIOLATION – WILLFUL CLASSIFICATION
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 334(e) (2015) – The Division did not show that Employer failed to make reasonable efforts to eliminate rocks falling from a conveyor. Thus, it did not establish that a willful violation occurred.
