Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 5162(a) (2013) - Employer violated the safety order because it did not have an emergency eyewash station available to its employees. The safety order applied even though the products involved were common household cleaning products.
PERSONAL SAFETY DEVICES - EYE AND FACE PROTECTION
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 3382(a) (2013) - Employees worked in locations where there was a risk of eye injuries, but Employer did not provide eye protection. The safety order does not require exposure to eye hazards to be unusual and excessive.
