INJURY AND ILLNESS PREVENTION PROGRAM (IIPP)
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 3203(a) (2016) – Employer, a provider of firefighting services, did not effectively permit employees to loosen their clothing or take rest breaks in the shade when they felt the need to do so, according to the heat illness prevention procedures in its IIPP. The Division established a general violation. 

HEAT ILLNESS PREVENTION – ACCESS TO SHADE, PREVENTATIVE COOL-DOWN REST IN SHADE
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 3395(d)(3) (2016) – Employer did not permit employees access to shade when they felt the need for it, a serious, accident-related violation.
