FALL PROTECTION - ELEVATED LOCATIONS Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, §§ 3210(b), 3401 and 1669(c) (2010) - The Board concluded that there is no conflict between the specific safety orders pertaining to firefighting activities and the General Industry Safety Orders on fall protection. Thus, §3210(b) required Employer to establish that it either provided the required fall protection or fell within an exception. Further, §1669(c), a general exception to the fall protection requirements of Article 24, did not apply to the work activity.
