The Division received valid consent from a representative of Employer, a foreman, to inspect its premises.
VIOLATION – SERIOUS CLASSIFICATION
Labor Code § 6432 (2016) – The Division established that three cited violations were classified properly as serious.
POWER OPERATED PRESSES – PRESS BRAKES MECHANICALLY OR HYDRAULICALLY POWERED
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 4214(a) (2016) – Employer failed to properly guard a press brake point of operation, in violation of the safety order. The violation was classified properly as serious.
COMPRESSED GAS AND AIR EQUIPMENT – STORAGE, HANDLING, AND USE OF CYLINDERS, COMPRESSED GAS CYLINDERS STORED OR TRANSPORTED TO PREVENT TIPPING, FALLING OR ROLLING
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 4650(e) (2016) – Employer failed to to secure compressed gas cylinders. The violation was classified properly as serious.
