ELEVATING WORK PLATFORMS AND AERIAL DEVICES – OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 3646(e) (2015) – Employer failed to prevent employees from standing on guardrails of an elevating work platform to gain greater working height or reach. The scissor lift could be in compliance with §1712(c)(2), and workers using it could violate §3646(e) by standing on the midrails.
