PRIME MOVERS AND MACHINERY – CONVEYORS PASSING OVER AREAS OCCUPIED OR USED BY EMPLOYEES, GUARDED TO PREVENT MATERIAL TRANSPORTED FROM FALLING AND CAUSING INJURY Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 3999(d) (2015) – Conveyors at Employer’s facility were not adequately guarded to prevent boxes from falling and possibly causing injury to employees. The ALJ properly interpreted the phrase “injury to employees” in the safety order as a consequence the standard is designed to avoid. The Division established a violation.
