SAN FRANCISCO - The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics has released its breakdown of some of the leading characteristics of disabling work injuries and illnesses in 1993. The findings are drawn from the 1993 national survey of 250,000 employers' reports in private industry.By means of a number of charts and tables, the BLS report helps identify industries, occupational and worker groups that have a relatively high risk of serious, non-fatal injury or illness and zeroes in on how those incidents occurred
