Fire Department in February Electrocution

California's Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) has charged the Santa Clara County Fire Department with three serious violations of Title 8 safety and health regulations in the Feb. 13 death of a fire captain who was electrocuted by a 12,000-volt power line while fighting a house blaze. DOSH has proposed $44,000 in penalties.Capt. Mark McCormack, 36, was killed at the Los Gatos fire scene after a power line melted during the blaze and ended up dangling from a tree branch
