Leave Grain Dust Standard Alone, Says Industry

The existing OSHA grain dust standard is fine, Fed-OSHA policy directors were told recently at the second of two public meetings. The 10-year-old standard was credited by the industry with reducing explosions and deaths by requiring no more than an eighth of an inch of accumulated dust in critical areas.
