OSHA Establishes Airline Employee Whistleblower Complaint Process

Implementing a law Congress passed in 2000 to protect airline employees who report air carrier safety violations, Fed-OSHA has announced an interim final rule.The rule is based on the Wendell H. Ford Aviation Investment and Reform Act for the 21st Century, also known as "AIR21." It was enacted in April 2000 and protects employees against retaliation by airlines, contractors and subcontractors for providing information about alleged Federal Aviation Administration or other violations.
