OSHA’s Respiratory Protection Requirements – to Standards Board

BURBANK - Fed-OSHA's respiratory protection standards for construction, general industry and ship building are on the agenda for public hearing when the Cal-OSH Standards Board meets on May 21 in Los Angeles. An update of GISO 4345(a) and new (b) are also set for public hearing. They concern the ANSI references in requirements for hoist and tilt-frame refuse and trash collection equipment.The federal respirator standards were published in the January 8, 1998, Federal Register as 29 CFR 1910.134.
