SAN FRANCISCO - A runaway locomotive, allegations of "serious safety violations," and an accident that injured the tunneling superintendent for Shea-Kiewit-Kenny and two co-workers on March 11, caused the Metropolitan Transportation Authority to shut down the L.A. subway project's largest tunneling job for a few days.
