PERSONAL SAFETY DEVICES AND SAFEGUARDS  –VERIFICATION OF HAZARD ASSESSMENTS California Code of Regulations, title 8, § 3380(f)(2) (2019) – There  must be a written certification that identifies the workplace evaluated; the person certifying that the evaluation has been performed; the date(s) of the hazard assessment; and, which identifies the document as a certification of hazard assessment. INJURY AND ILLNESS PROTECTION PROGRAM –  TRAINING RECORDS California Code of Regulations, title 8, § 3203(a) (2019) –  Lack of records, coupled with employee testimony indicating that no training was provided, lead to a reasonable inference that no such training was provided and to a violation of the standard. INJURY AND ILLNESS PROTECTION PROGRAM –  MULTIPLE VIOLATIONS    California Code of Regulations, title 8, § 3203(a) (2019)  - When a citation alleges more than one instance of a violation of a safety order, it is enough to sustain a violation if just one instance is proven. ASSESSMENT OF CIVIL PENALTIES The Citations, including a classification of one violation as Serious-Accident Related, were affirmed and associated penalties of $18,750 were assessed.
