ELEVATING WORK PLATFORMS AND AERIAL DEVICES – OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS (AERIAL DEVICES) Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 3648(o) (2016) – Employer’s employees were working in an aerial device without being secured to the boom or basket. However, Employer established that the exception for an orchard man-lift applied. Employees were not required to be secured to the basket or boom through the use of a safety belt, body belt, or body harness equipped with safety strap or lanyard.
